(HOLLYWOODLIFE) Kim, you must be thrilled that your “soul mate” has turned out to be the most hands-on, loving father that you ever could have imagined. Here’s why!

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, you must have been so annoyed by all the Kanye-dissers during Kim’s pregnancy. Kanye, you were criticized repeatedly for supposedly abandoning Kim during her tough pregnancy while you were away in Paris, finishing off your new album, Yeezus.
It must have been hard for both you and Kim to have to listen to that criticism, especially when — as HollywoodLife.com learned and exclusively reported, Kanye, you were in reality in constant contact with Kim and even chartered a private plane several times to fly back to L.A. for Kim’s doctor appointments.
Then from the moment that you went into labor Kim, Kanye has been by your side. And Kanye, you have been proving yourself to be a devoted, hands-on (literally) father to baby North West.
“Kanye can’t put North down. Besides Kim, North’s the love of his life,” a source close to Kanye has told HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
Not only that, Kanye has been happily changing baby North’s dirty diapers, and he has remained almost totally holed up in a private home with Kim and the baby since her birth on June 15.

Kim, Kanye Is Such A Great Dad

“I’m with the fam in Malibu. Everybody’s chill, holding my angel,” Kanye told a friend while he was visiting Bruce Jenner‘s new pad on the fourth of July.
Kanye was busy comforting baby North, who was scared by the noise outside the house.
“She just a little scared of the waves and loud fire cracker noise! It’s okay baby, my angel, daddy’s here,” his friend overheard Kanye say.
That’s when Kanye had to run! “I’ll talk to you later, my baby doesn't like it when all my attention ain't on her,” he told the friend, HL exclusively learned.
Kim — how sweet is that?! Kanye is so protective and loving with your new daughter, and she’s absolutely his top priority, along with you.
Kanye, you've made it clear all along that you’re going to be a very protective father. You don’t want little Nori to appear on any of the Kardashian reality shows and you didn't want to sell the first photos of your darling daughter, though you now may have been convinced otherwise, especially if the fee for the photos will go to charity.
But it’s the fact that you've made spending time with Kim and North, your top, top priority is what’s so impressive.

Kanye, Family Is The Most Important For You

You really are appreciating having a family of your own and being a part of the expansive Kardashian/Jenner family. You definitely wanted to enjoy the fourth of July at Bruce’s place with Kim’s family.
That’s easy to understand. You were raised by your mother, Donda, as an only child after your parents split up when you were just three years old.
You were extremely close to Donda, who helped manage your career, before dying tragically after plastic surgery, at the young age of 58, in 2007.
I bet that because you haven’t even had a “family” for the past five and a half years, that it’s made you even more appreciative of how important family is. And since you grew up without a father, you want to make sure that your own daughter doesn't have that same experience.
Kanye, you want little North to have the opposite experience. You are being the father to her, that I bet you wish that you had had, when you were growing up. Good for you!
Kim, you certainly were raised with a very involved father – Robert Kardashian – and stepfather, Bruce. You know how important a strong father-figure is for a girl.

That’s why I'm sure you’re thrilled that Kanye is proving to be the “natural” loving, involved, hands-on dad, you believed he would be!
